WOMAN-3 gets underway in Ibadan!

A WOMAN-3 Trial researcher in Nigeria screening a participant

We are delighted to announce that the WOMAN-3 trial is now underway, with the first volunteers being screened at University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.

Professor Oladapo Olayemi and his dedicated research team have worked hard to prepare for this exciting milestone.

Screening is the first step in joining the trial. During this visit, potencial participants receive information about the study, have the opportunity to ask questions, and, if eligible after the anaemia test and they choose to take part, will continue to the next stage of the trial.

A big thank you to everyone at UCH Ibadan and to all the participants who are helping make this important research possible.
